Thelonious Monk Institute visited Overton on September the 9th. After Optional students were treated to a performance by the Dee Dee Bridgewater Quintet, they dove into the creative work of two Master Classes. Thank you to the Institute and it's underwriters for coming to Overton.
Overton High School completed the 5 year self-study and recertification through AdvancED in the Spring of 2012.
Overton High School offers 12 AP Courses during regular school hours. They also participate in school wide PLAN and ACT testing.
